Day 11 of 75 Soft: Small Wins & Clearing Up Misconceptions

Day 11 of my 75 Soft journey is in the books, and today felt like one of those quiet but meaningful progress days. Nothing huge or dramatic—but the kind of day that reminds me that consistency is really where the magic happens.

This morning, I decided to push myself just a little bit more by adding an extra 5 minutes to my walk. It might not sound like much, but it felt like a win. There’s something powerful about choosing to do a little more than yesterday. It’s not about going all out—it’s about building momentum, one small step at a time. And honestly, those extra 5 minutes felt really good.

I’ve also been continuing with intermittent fasting, sticking to my 16-hour fasting window from 4 PM to 8 AM. I’m starting to settle into it more, and it’s feeling less like a “challenge” and more like part of my routine. But apparently, from the outside looking in… it raised a few eyebrows in my own household 😂

My husband was genuinely concerned and thought I was starving myself. I had to laugh a little because, in reality, I’m eating plenty—just within a structured window. So today, I decided to settle the debate in a funny way: I sent him pictures of all my meals throughout the day to prove that I am, in fact, eating and fueling my body properly.

It turned into a lighthearted moment between us, and honestly, I get where he was coming from. When people hear “fasting,” it can sound extreme. But for me, this is about discipline, balance, and being intentional—not deprivation.

Day 11 reminded me that this journey isn’t just physical—it’s also about communication, mindset, and staying grounded in why I started. Whether it’s adding a few extra minutes to a walk or explaining my choices to the people around me, every day is part of the bigger picture.

Here’s to continuing forward—one walk, one meal, and one moment at a time.
