Day 9 of 75 Soft: A New Layer of Discipline

Day 9 of my 75 Soft journey felt like a turning point—not because everything suddenly got easier, but because I decided to challenge myself in a new way. Today, I added intermittent fasting into my routine, and honestly, it brought a whole new level of awareness to my habits.

Up until now, I’ve been focused on showing up: getting my workouts in, staying consistent, and pushing through even on the harder days. But today felt different. It wasn’t just about movement—it was about control, patience, and really listening to my body.

Starting intermittent fasting wasn’t as intimidating as I thought it would be, but it definitely made me more mindful. I noticed how often I used to eat out of habit rather than actual hunger. There were moments today where I had to pause and remind myself why I’m doing this—not to restrict, but to build discipline and create a healthier relationship with food.

My workouts still got done, and I’m really proud of that. Even with the change in my eating schedule, I made sure to stay consistent. That’s something I’m learning about myself during this challenge: I’m capable of adapting. I don’t have to be perfect, I just have to keep going.

Mentally, I feel stronger today. Adding something new could have thrown me off, but instead, it made me feel more in control. Like I’m leveling up—not just physically, but mentally too.

This journey isn’t just about the scale or what I see in the mirror. It’s about building habits that stick, even when things change. Day 9 reminded me that growth comes from stepping outside of what’s comfortable.

Here’s to staying consistent, staying patient, and continuing to evolve.

On to Day 10.
