Today marked Day 3 of my 75 Soft Challenge, and I’m starting to notice how small, consistent actions are slowly shaping my day. It’s still early in the journey, but there’s something motivating about sticking to a commitment—even when it’s just been a few days.
This morning, I focused on getting started with intention. Instead of rushing into the day, I reminded myself why I began this challenge in the first place: to build better habits and show up for myself more consistently. That mindset shift alone makes the challenge feel less like a task and more like a personal promise.
One thing I’ve already learned by Day 3 is that consistency is harder than motivation. Motivation comes and goes, but following through on the habits—especially when you don’t feel like it—is where the real growth happens. Even simple things like staying mindful of what I’m eating, moving my body, or taking time to read require deliberate effort.
There were moments today where it would’ve been easy to skip something or tell myself, “I’ll do it tomorrow.” But that’s exactly the mindset this challenge is helping me break. Instead of pushing things off, I reminded myself that progress comes from showing up daily, not from being perfect.
Another thing I’m noticing is how these habits start to stack. Completing one positive action makes it easier to complete the next. Drink water → move my body → read a little → make a better food choice. It’s like momentum builds throughout the day.
By the end of Day 3, I’m realizing this challenge isn’t just about the habits themselves. It’s about discipline, self-trust, and building a routine that supports the person I want to become.
Three days down, seventy-two to go. Still early, but the momentum is starting—and I’m excited to see where this journey leads.
