Day 12 of 75 Soft: Progress, Partnership & A Well-Deserved Break

Day 12 of my 75 Soft journey felt like a perfect blend of progress and balance—and honestly, one of my favorite days so far.

First, let’s talk about this week’s weigh-in… and finally, some good news! It was better than last week, which felt so rewarding after pushing through the ups and downs. It’s a reminder that consistency really does pay off, even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. Small steps, real progress.

One of the highlights of today was having my hubby join me at the gym this morning. There’s something extra motivating about having your person right there beside you, sweating it out with you. It made the workout feel lighter, more fun, and honestly just special. I didn’t realize how much I’d enjoy sharing this part of my routine with him.

After the gym, we turned the day into a little date day, which meant switching things up and skipping my usual evening walk. And you know what? I didn’t feel guilty about it at all. Balance is part of this journey too. The best part? Even without that evening walk, I still hit my 10,000 step goal for the day. That felt like such a win—proof that movement doesn’t have to look the same every single day to count.

Today reminded me that this journey isn’t just about routines and checklists—it’s about creating a lifestyle that feels good, sustainable, and even joyful. Progress on the scale, quality time with my husband, and still showing up for my goals… I’d call that a successful Day 12.

On to Day 13 ✨
