Day 35 of 75 Soft

Day 35 felt like a small but important turning point in my routine. Not because anything dramatic happened, but because I finally made a decision that brings a little more structure—and honestly, a little more peace—to my days.

I’ve decided that my morning walks will be outdoors, as long as the weather cooperates and it’s not raining. There’s just something about being outside in the morning that feels right. The fresh air, the quiet, the sense of starting the day with movement instead of fluorescent lights and machines—it makes a difference. Even if the pace isn’t perfect or I don’t feel super energized, being outside helps clear my mind in a way the gym just doesn’t.

For my evening walks, I’ll be heading to the gym and using the treadmill. This gives me consistency no matter what’s going on outside. No worrying about darkness, weather, or anything else—just getting it done. It feels like a good balance: peaceful and refreshing in the morning, structured and reliable in the evening.

I’m starting to realize that this journey isn’t just about pushing harder every day. It’s also about figuring out what actually works for me—what I can stick to, what feels sustainable, and what keeps me moving forward without burning out.

There’s still progress being made, even if it’s not always obvious. Some days it’s faster, some days it’s slower (and I’ve definitely noticed that shift a bit lately), but what matters is that I’m still showing up.

And today, showing up looked like creating a routine that feels a little more me.
