Day 34 of 75 Soft – Adjusting and Listening to My Body

Today felt like one of those days where I had to really tune in and pay attention to what my body was telling me.

I got my workout in and stayed consistent, but I did notice something new during my walk—I’ve slowed down a bit. At first, I wasn’t sure how to feel about it. Part of me wondered if I was losing momentum or slipping backwards. But then I stopped and thought about what’s changed recently… and the biggest difference is the addition of the trampoline.

Since I started using it, my body is working in a completely different way. It’s engaging muscles I’m not used to using as much, and even though the workouts are shorter, they’re definitely effective. So it makes sense that my legs might be feeling it a bit more during my walks.

Instead of getting frustrated, I’m choosing to look at it as progress in a different form. Slowing down doesn’t mean I’m doing less—it might actually mean I’m doing more than my body is used to, just in a new way.

I’m learning that this journey isn’t just about pushing harder every single day. It’s also about adjusting, adapting, and giving myself grace when things shift a little. The important thing is that I still showed up, still moved my body, and still stayed committed to the process.

Day 34 is a reminder that progress isn’t always linear—and that’s okay.
